- Configurable default keyboard layout for new tabs/windows
- Opening link in new tab/window preserves keyboard layout
- Preserving independent keyboard layout for address bar (English is recommended), web search bar and page find bar
- Session restore support
- Undo close tab, tab drag-n-drop and tear-off support
You can access TabLang Options dialog from Tools>Add-ons>TabLang>Options
Known bugs
- Multiple keyboard types for the same language are not supported in Windows XP (and, maybe, some other) (may affect IME users)
- This bug is fixed in Windows Vista
- If you have any comments about this or know workaround please let me know
- Opening links in new tabs/windows from page from local drive(opened with file:// protocol) doesn't preserve keyboard layout
- Using Open links in tabs and Open links in windows mouse gestures keyboard of new tabs/windows may not preserve keyboard layout
-
On Linux TabLang may conflict with other system-wide keyboard switcher installed (xxkb, kkbswitch or KDE4 kxkb)
- If you have any comments about this or know workaround please let me know
- Restore closed window in Firefox 3.5 is not supported properly. I hope to fix it in the next version.
